Job Description
Job Description:
- Project Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to work on projects from inception to completion. You will actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to decisions related to UI and UX design.
- UI UX Design: Take the lead in crafting intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and functional user interfaces. Your designs should prioritize user needs and deliver an exceptional user experience.
- Technology Knowledge: Demonstrate a strong understanding of various web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React. Proficiency in JavaScript plugins and frameworks will be vital to enhance the interactive elements of our platforms.
- Graphic Design Tools: Utilize graphic design tools such as Adobe Suite, Canva, and Figma to create visually appealing and cohesive design mockups and prototypes.
- Version Control: Maintain a disciplined approach to version control using SVN and GitHub, ensuring that UI codebase updates are made regularly and in line with project
Skills:
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 , Bootstrap 5.3.
- Strong understanding of CSS3 pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
- Experience or Knowledge of WordPress and/or magento will be added advantage.
- Basic understanding of Jquery and Javascript.
- Basic understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Design Tools: Proficient in using industry-standard graphic design tools such as Adobe Suite, Canva, and Figma.
- Strong Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with developers, designers, and other stakeholders.
- Creativity: Ability to think creatively and innovatively to solve design challenges and deliver unique user experiences.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure design elements are consistent and aligned with the overall brand and user experience guidelines.
- Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing previous UX/UI design work and projects will be required during the selection process.
