Mobile Repair Engineer

1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Diagnosis and troubleshooting mobile devices to identify hardware and software issues

B. Use diagnostic tools and software to accurately pinpoint problems

C. Replace or repair damaged components, including screens, batteries, charging ports, and buttons

D. Clean and remove dust, debris, or moisture affecting device performance

E. Skilfully disassemble and reassemble mobile devices, avoiding damage

F. Conduct soldering or micro soldering to repair small components on circuit boards

G. Retrieve data from malfunctioning or damaged devices, including photos, contacts, and files

H. Thoroughly test repaired devices to ensure all functions work correctly

I. Perform quality control checks to meet industry standards and ensure customer satisfaction

J. Maintain an inventory of replacement parts, tools, and supplies

K. Keep meticulous records of repairs, including work performed, parts used, and customer information

L. Stay updated on the latest mobile device models, technologies, and repair techniques

12 KEY QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

A. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus

B. Proficiency in mobile device diagnostics, repair, and troubleshooting

C. Skill in soldering and micro soldering techniques

D. Strong attention to detail and precision in handling delicate components

E. Effective communication skills and a customer-focused attitude

F. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet repair deadlines

G. Knowledge of mobile device hardware, operating systems, and software

H. Physical dexterity and good hand-eye coordination

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate → Bachelor's Degree
• UG → Undergraduate
• Diploma → Diploma in (ECE)
• BEE → Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (B.E.E.)
• B-Tech in Electronics & Communications → Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)

Minimum Two Years of Mobile repair Experience.

Technical Knowledge / Skills:

• Proficient in Android and iOS operating systems.
• Familiar with various software tools.
• Knowledgeable in hardware tools and equipment.
• Understanding of 5S methodology and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) precautions.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong communication and presentation skills
