About the role:
- We're not just any mattress brand - we're SleepyCat, known as much for our standout communication & design as for our fantastic (oomph-worthy) products.
- As the Creative Lead, you will be responsible for shaping the brand's visual and content strategy across digital and offline channels. You will lead a team of designers, copywriters, and strategists to create high-impact campaigns that strengthen brand recall and drive consumer engagement.
- This role requires a mix of creative vision, strategic thinking, and leadership, ensuring SleepyCat remains at the forefront of D2C, e-commerce, and lifestyle branding.
What you'll be responsible for :
- Brand Identity & Creative Direction
- Define and maintain SleepyCat's brand voice and visual identity across all platforms.
- Develop high-impact creative campaigns for social media, website, print, packaging, and advertising.
- Ensure all creative assets align with brand guidelines while pushing boundaries in innovation.
- Content & Campaign Strategy
- Conceptualize and execute campaigns for product launches, digital marketing, and offline activations.
- Work closely with growth, performance marketing, and product teams to create engaging and high-converting content.
- Optimize creatives through A/B testing and data-driven insights.
- Leadership & Team Management
- Mentor and guide a team of designers, content creators, and art directors.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to execute high-quality creative projects.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure seamless execution.
- Photoshoots & Video Production
- Lead photoshoots and video productions to create compelling brand assets.
- Oversee scripting, storyboarding, and execution of TVCs, influencer collaborations, and ad films.
- Performance-Driven Approach
- Implement best practices for design, UX, and performance marketing creatives.
- Track campaign performance and continuously refine creative strategies based on analytics.
What'll you need to bring to the table?
1. 7+ years of experience in brand strategy, creative direction, and content marketing.
2. Strong design aesthetics, storytelling skills, and marketing sensibilities.
3. Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro), Figma, and Blender.
4. Experience with D2C, e-commerce, lifestyle, or consumer brands is a strong plus.
5. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple creative projects simultaneously.
6. Hands-on experience with branding, packaging, ATL/BTL marketing, and digital assets.
7. Knowledge of HTML, UI/UX principles, and creative best practices for performance ads.
8. Entrepreneurial mindset, problem-solving attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
9. Experience in shoot production, influencer marketing, and social media growth strategies.
10. A degree in Design, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
