SMD & SMT Quality Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1.Line balancing & knowledge in SMD SPI parameters, Chip mounter & reflow profile settings

2. Well knowledge in PTH process, Selective soldering, wave soldering, Manual soldering criteria (Foming & stage processing, Inspection FML inspection STD).

3. Ensure do analysis the circuit diagram, debugging and testing standard like ES90000, AEC-101,100,102.

4.Ensure to inline process Auditing like PQR, Run &Rate, 5 star audit, Product & process planning of PDCA Method

5.Responsible to given assurance of the product based on IPC-A-610 STD, IPC, IPC/WHMA-A- 620D-Wiring Harness, IPC 2221-PCB Design

6.Responsible for ensuring action for reduce customer end, in process and BOM PPM.

7.Measuring supplier quality performance, New supplier qualification and audits, New product stage preparing the PSW documents

8.Responsible to take inline balancing in zero defects, handling in like (FAI, FML, Rejection, Manpower training)

9.Knowledge in understand the incoming material inspection standard (sampling STD) (MIL STD-105)

10.Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies

11.Respond to customer complaints putting in containment actions, full analysis, poka-yokes (error proofing), and implementing short-term and long-term countermeasures.

12.Act as a point of contact for warranty issues

13.Update quality documentation and communicate to carry forward lessons learned from quality concerns in new customer contracts

14. Undertake internal and process audits of the Quality Management System (QMS)

15.Establish and refine quality sign-off instructions, standards and documentation

16.Report against agreed quality metrics on a monthly basis (SMD SPI, AOI, EOL )

17.Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility

18.Manages non- conformities and their recording customer complaints-root cause analysis
