We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Lead AI Engineer to spearhead our team of AI engineers in developing cutting-edge AI solutions for UAVs. This role is pivotal in solving complex problems through technical proficiency and innovative approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of engineers in the creation and implementation of AI use cases.
Drive the development of machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and robotics solutions.
Foster a culture of innovation and enthusiasm for the UAV domain.
Translate complex requirements into functional architecture and algorithms.
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in AI and robotics.
Additional Responsibilities:
Engage in individual research and development initiatives to advance project goals.
Make informed decisions autonomously when required.
Conduct code reviews and ensure the highest quality of code is maintained.
Lead technical reviews and facilitate technical discussions within the team.
Qualifications:
Postgraduate degree (M.Tech/M.E./masters in engineering) or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
At least 5 years of proven experience in machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and robotics.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++, and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, and OpenCV.
Demonstrated ability to implement algorithms and ideas from research papers.
Familiarity with ROS 1 or 2, Robotics concepts, vision systems like camera, lidar etc., edge computing platforms like Nvidia Jetson series.
Preferred Experience:
5+ years of relevant experience in AI, ML, DL, Computer Vision and Robotics.
A track record of problem-solving with innovative algorithms or approaches.
Experience in working with real world image and sensor data, preprocessing/cleaning the data, perform data analysis to gather useful insights and use them for building high performing ML models.
Experience in using pre-trained models for Object Detection Tracking use cases and finetuning the models effectively to use on custom datasets.
Familiarity with ROS - 1 or 2, Nvidia Edge computing platforms, Nvidia frameworks like TensorRT for model optimization.
Prior experience in the field of UAVs or Robotics is a big plus.
