Spanish Language Executive

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proficient Spanish Language Specialist with 56 years of experience to support our business operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, fluency in both Spanish and English, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide cultural and linguistic expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Language Translation and Interpretation:
   
• Provide accurate translation of documents, emails, and reports from English to Spanish and vice versa.
• Act as an interpreter for meetings, calls, and presentations involving Spanish-speaking clients or partners.
2. Client Communication:
   
• Build and maintain relationships with Spanish-speaking clients and stakeholders.
• Address client inquiries and provide timely responses in both English and Spanish.
3. Business Support:
   
• Assist various departments in communicating effectively with Spanish-speaking clients, vendors, or teams.
• Ensure that all Spanish-language content aligns with business standards and cultural nuances.
4. Training and Documentation:
   
• Develop and deliver training materials or sessions for teams working with Spanish-speaking clients.
• Maintain and update language-specific documentation as needed.
5. Cultural Consultancy:
   
• Advise the team on cultural nuances to ensure smooth interactions and avoid miscommunication.
6. Reporting and Feedback:
   
• Prepare regular reports summarizing interactions with Spanish-speaking stakeholders.
• Provide feedback to improve processes and communication.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Language Proficiency:
• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Experience:
• 5-6 years of relevant experience in a language-specialist role or equivalent.
• Interpersonal Skills:
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and other relevant software.
• Attention to Detail:
• Strong proofreading and editing skills for bilingual content.
• Cultural Awareness:
• Deep understanding of Spanish-speaking regions cultural practices and business etiquettes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Communications, or a related field.
• Certification in Spanish language translation/interpretation.
• Prior experience working with global teams or in multinational companies.
