Accounts Manager

Role & responsibilities of Senior Accounts Manager:

1. Financial Oversight:

• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial statements and records.
• Monitor and review all financial transactions and accounts for compliance with policies and regulations.
• Oversee general ledger accounting, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll processing.

2. Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead and supervise a team of accountants, providing mentorship and guidance.
• Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and manage team development.
• Assign tasks and monitor team performance, ensuring efficient completion of accounting duties.

3. Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure the timely preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• Present reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.

4. Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Collaborate with senior management in preparing annual budgets.
• Oversee financial forecasting and ensure forecasts align with the companys strategic goals.
• Analyze budget variances and provide corrective action recommendations.

5. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:

• Ensure that the company complies with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Stay updated on tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
• Manage tax filings, ensuring timely and accurate submissions of corporate taxes, VAT, and other filings.

6. Internal Controls and Audits:

• Develop, implement, and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Prepare for and liaise with external and internal auditors during audits.
• Respond to audit findings and ensure that recommendations for improvements are implemented.
