What would you do?
Role:I&E Design Engineer The Instrumentation and Electrical Designs Engineer is a member of Client's Facilities Designs Engineering team providing instrumentation, controls, and electrical designs support to Client s Refining and Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) assets. This role is responsible for supporting the troubleshooting, analysis and development of I&E engineering solutions for Clients complex process facilities. The I&E Designs Engineering team provides remote technical support for operations, turnaround scope development, and projects.



What are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in instrumentation or electrical engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) from a deemed/recognized (AICTE) universityMinimum of 3-10 years relevant experience performing I&E Reliability Engineering in an Oil & Gas operating environmentKnowledge of Safety Instrumented Functions Knowledge of refinery and LNG process technologies will be highly regarded


Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide instrumentation, controls, and electrical engineering support process units within Client's complex process facilities. This will require collaboration with Operations, Maintenance and Technical functions within Client's assets.

Leverage expertise and knowledge of electrical power systems and codes, instrumentation and control design, safety instrumented systems, process control systems, field instrument selection and sizing, equipment procurement, field construction and repair practices, process safety information, management of change work process and process control and monitoring to coach and develop team.

Support the management of change process for instrumentation, controls and electrical design packages and associated changes.

Utilize Client and Industry Engineering Standards for Safety in Designs

Support the design, troubleshooting, analysis and installation of distributed control systems instrumentation, safety instrumented systems (SIS), analyzers, electrical power distribution systems, rotating equipment control and monitoring systems, PLC control & instruments, HART instruments, field measurement instruments, and other oil & gas process technology equipment.

Provide active remote support working with Operations and other technical teams to scope instrumentation and electrical repairs and troubleshoot issues in process plants.

Support implementation of solutions through Routine Maintenance, Turnaround execution and project construction and startup.

Develop and manage Engineering Work Orders for projects including instrumentation and electrical equipment repair, equipment replacement and upgrades, and support for large complex projects and turnarounds.

Develop purchase specifications for engineered instrumentation and electrical equipment that ensures the equipment meets company and industry standards and manage the technical fabrication and factory acceptance testing requirements for procuring equipment.
