Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team at a leading General

Insurance company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of insurance processes,

with a particular emphasis on claims management. This role involves collaborating with various

stakeholders to define business requirements, analyze processes, and deliver solutions that align with

organizational goals.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience in insurance claims systems or operations.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO claims handling or ACORD.• Certifications like CBAP, CII (Chartered Insurance Institute), or equivalent are an added

advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Minimum 6+ years of Experience.
• Experience in the general insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, particularly in claims processing.
• Gathering and analysing business s requirements from stakeholders to ensure the development

of effective solutions.

• Efficient in creating Epics, Features, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
• Expert in Scrum, Kanban, Agile Methodologies.
• Efficient in Microsoft Visio, Balsamiq, Figma for Wire framing and Flowcharts,
• Efficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint for documentation and presentation, MS Excel, and SQL

for Data Analysis.

• Efficient in Business Analysis techniques like Business Process Modelling (BPM), MOSCOW

Technique, Requirement Ranking Method, 100 Dollar method, Kano Analysis, SWOT Analysis

and RCA

• Managing and providing subject matter expertise with the building of APIs for the entitlement

verification for service.

• Recognize and adopt best practices in analysis, design, build, test design, validation, and

documentation.

• Availed good knowledge in agile methodologies and techniques - Agile (Scrum) - Creating,

Maintaining User Stories, Sprint Sheets.

• Strong background in business analysis, excellent Product and project management skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of the Insurance domain is an added advantage.
• Expertise in using leading industry tools like Azure DevOps, MS Word, MS Excel and MS

PowerPoint, MS Visio to develop various project deliverables and understand work.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's/masters degree in computer sciences, Engineering, and Mathematics, MBA
