Role Overview:
We re seeking a Strategic Account Executive with at least 4 years of experience selling deeply technical products. In this role, you ll collaborate closely with the founders and marketing team to shape Simplismart s GTM roadmap, identify and prospect new customers, and close deals to drive revenue growth. You ll build strong relationships with both prospective and existing customers, gathering insights that will influence our product and GTM strategies. This is an opportunity to help lay the foundation for our customer-facing teams and contribute to the growth of Simplismart.
Responsibilities:
Establish foundational processes for customer-facing teams.
Prospect, lead negotiations, and close new accounts to achieve revenue goals.
Build relationships with key personas (AI/ML engineers, Data Scientists, Engineering Leaders) and effectively communicate Simplismart s platform value.
Collaborate with the marketing and BDR teams to maintain a strong sales pipeline and meet revenue targets.
Foster and maintain long-term relationships with customers to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
Work with the founders to build and lead Simplismart s foundational sales team.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in customer-facing software sales.
Proven success in selling to technical audiences, ideally in:
Software infrastructure
Devtool
B2B SaaS
Experience with developer or machine-learning tools is highly preferred.
Track record of managing and closing complex sales cycles.
Proficiency in sales and marketing automation tools.
Strong interest in working at an early-stage, fast-paced startup.
