Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and timelines are met.
- Develop, implement, and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with other departments (Quality, Supply Chain, etc.) to ensure smooth production flow.
- Ensure that production equipment is in proper working condition and maintain equipment schedules.
- Analyze production data and identify areas for process improvements.
- Work on continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques, Six Sigma, or other relevant methodologies.
- Ensure that production processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and ensure product quality through inspections and testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues affecting product quality.
- Lead and manage a team of operators and technicians, ensuring effective teamwork.
- Train staff on production processes, safety standards, and new equipment or procedures.
- Promote a culture of safety and ensure that all team members adhere to safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
- Provide regular updates to management on production status, KPIs, and any challenges.
- Identify root causes of production issues and implement corrective actions.
