ServiceNow Architect Senior

Seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead our ServiceNow Center of Excellence (CoE) and drive strategic initiatives leveraging ServiceNows workflow automation and AI capabilities across our managed service operations. This role requires a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on technical expertise to architect, implement, and optimize ServiceNow solutions that enhance operational efficiencies and elevate service delivery. As the CoE Lead, you will be responsible for setting and guiding the vision for ServiceNow within our organization while taking on architect, engineer, and developer roles as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and Manage ServiceNow Center of Excellence (CoE):
• Develop and lead a ServiceNow CoE to define standards, best practices, and governance structures across ServiceNow initiatives.
• Lead a cross-functional CoE team to drive ServiceNow solution adoption, training, and knowledge-sharing practices.
• Technical Architecture & Solution Design:
• Design and implement ServiceNow solutions tailored to organizational needs, focusing on workflow automation, service orchestration, and AI-powered support solutions.
• Translate business requirements into high-level technical solutions, aligning with best practices and ensuring scalability and sustainability.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to map and integrate ServiceNow modules across various functions.
• Development & Engineering:
• Serve as the hands-on technical architect, engineer, and developer for ServiceNow platform customization, development, and integrations.
• Create and modify ServiceNow workflows, business rules, UI policies, ACLs, and scripting (e.g., JavaScript, AngularJS) as required.
• Implement and maintain ServiceNow CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM modules to streamline internal managed service operations.
• Strategic Investment Leadership:
• Spearhead strategic initiatives to integrate ServiceNow workflow automation, AI solutions, and digital transformation initiatives within our managed service and business operations.
• Evaluate and recommend new ServiceNow features and capabilities that align with organizational goals, such as virtual agents, predictive intelligence, and process automation.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Act as the primary ServiceNow SME within the organization, partnering with executive leadership, managed service teams, and other departments to promote ServiceNow's value.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and reports for stakeholders, providing visibility into the CoE’s impact on business operations and ROI on ServiceNow investments.
• Governance & Compliance:
• Define and enforce ServiceNow development, configuration, and deployment standards to ensure consistency, security, and compliance.
• Implement data governance standards, regularly auditing and enhancing platform performance, security, and integrity.

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Architect or Senior Developer, with deep knowledge in ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM modules.
• Proven experience building and managing a ServiceNow Center of Excellence (CoE) or similar governance body is highly desired.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in ServiceNow development, including hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform configuration, scripting, workflow creation, and integrations.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, REST/SOAP APIs, and experience with ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM modules.
• Experience with ServiceNow’s AI and machine learning features, such as Virtual Agent and Predictive Intelligence, preferred.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills to foster cross-departmental relationships and champion ServiceNow within the organization.
• Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
