Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities :
This role involves working as embedded firmware engineer as part of the PRT. The person will be involved in developing, modifying and maintaining some of the embedded software developed for the products developed by the PRT. He/she will also be involved in new projects and in developing firmware to validate the hardware, developing manufacturing diagnostics and software for test jigs.

He/she will also be involved in new projects and in developing firmware to validate the hardware, developing manufacturing diagnostics and software for test jigs.
Requirements :
- Strong C programming skills.
- Good design, coding, optimization, and debugging skills.
- Ability to verify software using debuggers, emulators, simulators, and logic analysers.
- Good understanding of microcontrollers (8051 or other) and/or ARM processor architecture and experience in product development based on them.
- Hands on Linux development skills.
- Low level device driver development experience.
- Debugging the issues related to Hardware and firmware.
Desirable :
- Experience with configuration management tools and bug tracking systems (Eg. SVN and Trac).
- Working knowledge in scripting and automation using Perl/ Python.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good team Player and independent performer.
Qualification :
- Bachelor s degree in Electronics, Communications or Computer Science with a good academic record.
- Around 3 years of experience.
