Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager to drive business development, manage enterprise accounts, and contribute to company growth.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in hunting new accounts, enterprise sales management, and team leadership.
The role requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to exceed sales targets consistently.
Experience of acquiring new logos in the US Market is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Individual Contributor:
- Primary Goal: Identify and develop new business opportunities (Business Development & Hunting).
- Secondary Goal: Manage enterprise accounts, grow share of wallet, and maintain long-term relationships.
- Set sales goals and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Lead generation - reach out to potential clients via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking.
- Work on leads generated by the Demand Generation Team.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and business opportunities.
- Present and demonstrate company products/services to potential prospects.
- Assess client needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Manage sales pipeline, forecasting, negotiations, and closures.
- Consistently exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Handle contract negotiations and closure with clients.
- Work closely with pre-sales, marketing, and other teams to support sales initiatives.
- Prepare sales reports and performance analysis.
As a Team Player:
- Provide training and professional development to the sales team.
- Assist sales team members in building strong customer relationships.
- Ensure timely follow-ups with potential customers.
- Handle escalations, objections, and concerns to support the sales team.
- Mentor and develop sales team members for better performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong sales acumen - ability to guide customers through the sales process and close deals.
- Expertise in IT sales - experience with software solutions, IT services, SaaS solutions.
- Must have experience in selling to the US Market.
- Proven track record in business development and enterprise sales.
- Strategic thinker with experience in setting and achieving sales projections.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills - ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience handling US market and working with international clients.
Education & Experience:
- MBA / B.E / B.Tech from a recognized institution.
- 10-15 years of experience in sales, with a strong background in handling US market.
- Proven experience in both individual contributor and team leadership roles.
