Devisetechnical solutions based on the requirements of the product and ensure thatsoftware architecture meets the expectations of business.

CreateArchitectural Concepts and derive technical road map for cloud-basedapplications and relevant technology fields.

Contributeto elaborate software requirements and other specifications needed fordevelopment tasks.

Activelydrive development of Continuous Delivery pipelines using new architectureparadigms like Micro services.

Supportproject planning activities through estimation, identification of integrationpoints, technical risks & mitigation, etc.

Ensuretestability of the design and support test-automation design.

Participatein validation of implemented features

Evaluatetools & technologies and perform prototypes

Coach andmentor team members regarding software design approach, technology, tools,methods and various software quality aspects.

Advice inmake or buy decisions

Use your skillsto move the world forward!

Bachelorsor Masters degree in Computer Science & Engineering, or equivalent

Experienceof 8-12 years of software development with at least 4 - 5 years as anArchitect.

Soundknowledge of modern enterprise-level cloud-based application development.

Thoroughunderstanding of Design principles, tools & methods

Soundknowledge of software engineering processes.

Hands-onexperience in Distributed Computing architectures and communication paradigmslike REST, WebServices, etc.

Expertisein AWS Cloud-based services and technologies.

Expertisein programming languages & toolkits: Angular, Java

Excellentinsights into Architectural and design patterns and usage of modeling tools

Expertisein design review, code reviews and integration of software components in largesystems

Goodunderstanding of Deployment Pipelines, DevOps and related tools / methods (e.g.Container technologies)

Providesupport and technical governance, expertise related to cloud architectures,deployment, and operations

If you get into a good project and under a good manager, siemens is a very good place to work.. Work life balance and leanings depend upon the team and the project

Dislikes

Absolutely no hike linked with promotion as per policy. Apart from annual hike cycle expect no hike irrespective of promotions.. I had 2 dry promotions in 3 years with hardly any difference to the salary. Only the work and responsibilities increased.
