Job Description
Design and implement a robust testing strategy for our SaaS applications on Cloud(AWS).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and DevOps, to ensure quality is integrated throughout the SDLC.
Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks tailored for cloud-based applications.
Assess and select appropriate testing tools and technologies that align with AWS services.
Perform risk assessments and create comprehensive test plans, focusing on performance, security, and scalability of the applications.
Mentor and lead a team of QA engineers, promoting best practices in software testing.
Analyze test results and provide insights into software quality, defect trends, and performance metrics.
Stay updated on industry trends, cloud technologies, and advancements in testing practices relevant to SaaS applications.
Apply the latest test technologies and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process..
Use your skills to move the world forward!
bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field; masters degree preferred.
10 to 15 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a minimum 5 years experience on SaaS applications.
Proven experience in test architecture, specifically for applications deployed on AWS (microservices, micro frontend architecture)
Expertise in testing event-driven architecture and hands-on experience with IoT use cases
Expertise in security testing practices and tools.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and AWS services (eg, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and Kubernetes/Docker, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Typescript, Python.
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (eg, Playwright).
Experience with performance testing and monitoring tools (eg, JMeter, LoadRunner, AWS CloudWatch).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Multiple Teams.
Knowledge of power systems and protection domain.
