We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary:
As an Architect at Amjaad Holding, you will be responsible for designing and planning a variety of projects, from residential buildings to large-scale commercial developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong architectural background, a passion for design, and the experience necessary to manage all phases of architectural projects, ensuring they meet both client expectations and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of architectural projects from concept through to completion.
- Work closely with clients, project managers, and engineers to develop design proposals and solutions.
- Produce detailed architectural plans, elevations, and 3D models.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to ensure project viability.
- Oversee and ensure that the design aligns with budget, timeline, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present design concepts, layouts, and specifications to clients for approval.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Supervise and manage the quality of work on-site, ensuring designs are implemented as per the approved plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest architectural trends, building codes, and technologies.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that deadlines and budgets are met.
- Prepare documentation for permits, approvals, and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert advice on materials, design, and space utilization to clients.
- Review and assess the work of junior architects and provide guidance and mentorship.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in architecture, with a proven track record in designing commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects.
- Proficiency in architectural design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction practices in Oman.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while leading design efforts.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and solution-focused with a passion for innovative design.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think strategically.
- Experience in preparing tender documents, project specifications, and reports.
- Ability to travel to project sites and manage site supervision when required.
