The ideal candidate must have experience in tendering for water & solar related projects within government organizations. This experience should include preparing and submitting tenders, understanding government procurement processes, and adhering to specific regulatory and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Tender Identification and Evaluation:
Identify and evaluate potential tenders and bid opportunities from various sources.
Analyze tender documents to understand requirements and feasibility.
Documentation and Submission:
Prepare and compile tender documents in accordance with client requirements and company standards.
Ensure all necessary documentation, including technical and financial details, is accurate and complete.
Submit tenders within specified deadlines.
Coordination and Communication:
Liaise with internal departments (finance, legal, technical) to gather necessary information and inputs.
Communicate with clients and stakeholders to clarify tender requirements and follow up on submitted tenders.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure all tender submissions comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tender documents.
Tracking and Reporting:
Maintain a database of submitted tenders, including status updates and outcomes.
Generate regular reports on tender activities and performance metrics.
Post-Submission Activities:
Follow up on submitted tenders to track progress and address any post-submission queries.
Coordinate contract award processes and assist in contract negotiations if required.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tender management or a similar role in the water construction industry.
Strong understanding of tender processes and documentation requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and tender management software.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
