Job Description
Shrachi Group is looking for Milling Machine Operator to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
- Machine Setup: Set up milling machines by installing and adjusting cutting tools, fixtures, and workpieces according to job specifications
- Ensure proper alignment and calibration of machine components
- Operation: Operate milling machines to perform milling, drilling, boring, and other machining operations
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed to maintain product quality and meet production targets
- Tooling Maintenance: Inspect cutting tools and tool holders for wear and damage
- Replace worn or damaged tools with new ones to ensure optimal machining performance
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on milling machines to keep them in good working condition
- Quality Control: Inspect machined parts and components for accuracy, dimensional tolerances, and surface finish
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify conformance to engineering drawings and specifications
- Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with milling machines, tooling, or workpieces
- Diagnose problems, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to resolve issues and minimize downtime
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety guidelines when operating milling machines and handling materials
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine settings, tooling changes, production output, and quality inspection results
- Complete production logs, job tickets, and other documentation as required for traceability and quality assurance purposes
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the manufacturing team, including supervisors, machinists, and quality inspectors, to coordinate workflow and achieve production goals
- Communicate effectively to share information and address any issues or concerns
