Shift Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• To assist and coordinate functions related to civil/mechanical/electrical/water supply/sewage.
• Responsible for liaison with the government agencies such as State Electricity Board / Pollution Control Board /Water Supply/GHMC and other Department related to maintenance activity.
• Responsible for overall maintenance functions;
• Monitor departmental activities;
• Ensure proper implementation of SOPs;
• Responsible for active participation in training programs;
• Responsible for coordination of developmental projects;
• Ensuring proper take over and handing over;
• Responsible for close supervision;
• responsible for proper maintenance work undertaken;
• Responsible for handling issues and report the same to the head of the department.
• Responsible for measuring TAT for complaints raised in treat well, measuring PPMS done in the month.
• Responsible for all such additional activities which the management assigns from time to time

Administrative:

• Must have good domain knowledge. Should have good supervisory and communication skills.
• Must have good exposure to refrigeration systems and HVAC.
• Must have good exposure to automation systems.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Job demands good coordination skills to ensure proper implementation of plans on time.
• Should have good interpersonal and behavioral skills as they directly with other department heads, doctors, contractors and associates.
• Good scope for supervision to monitor construction as well as maintenance activities on a daily basis.
• Can take judgment within the framework of policies and procedures. Includes supervision, motivating and coordinating skills.
• Taking daily reading and updating the Diesel stock on daily basis, generating monthly energy reports (Energy consumption and diesel consumption).
• Maintaining all files and documents and keeps a records update
• Maintaining critical & regular Spares Inventory for Preventive / Breakdown maintenance.

Job Specifications:

• Must have Degree / Diploma in electrical / Mechanical with at least 5 / 10 years experience at supervisory level.
• Working knowledge in domain side as well as good theoretical knowledge.
• Must have knowledge of organization in order to supervise the operation of the department
