Job Description
- Responsible for overall function of Purchase, ensuring the availability of all required Lab Equipments, Instruments, Furniture, IT Equipment, and Consumables in the shortest possible time.
- Responsible for requirement analysis of the entire University and colleges, processing the same for procurement.
- To negotiate best possible rates and take approvals from Purchase Head and Purchase committee for introduction of new items or any price revisions.
- Procure and provide material required for the user departments to run the departments efficiently, at the minimum possible rates and in the shortest possible time without compromising on the quality.
- Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers.
- Prepare the quotation comparison.
- Liaison with cross functional teams for timely release of vendor payments as per management.
