Medical Transcriptionist

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Transcriptionist to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and excellent listening and typing skills to accurately transcribe medical reports and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Transcribe medical audio recordings into written reports, summaries, and other documents.
• Ensure accuracy and adherence to medical terminology and standards.
• Proofread and edit transcripts for clarity, grammar, and formatting.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with utmost care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any discrepancies in the transcription.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality.

Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years of experience as a Medical Transcriptionist.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and transcription software.
• Excellent listening, typing, and grammar skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in medical transcription or related field.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
