Job Description

Job Title: Marketing Operations & Business Development Manager
Department: Warehouse & Logistics
Job Location: Indore

Salary range: 30-40k

Job Summary:

Anup Logistics Park Indore Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Marketing Operations & Business Development Manager to lead both marketing operations and business development efforts across our warehouse and logistics services. This position requires a strategic, results-oriented leader who can drive the growth of the business by developing and executing marketing campaigns, managing key customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the logistics and warehousing sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of marketing expertise, business development experience, and operations management skills to ensure the seamless delivery of our services and continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Campaign Development & Execution:
    • Design, implement, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns that elevate the companys brand and promote its warehouse and logistics services.
    • Monitor and analyze campaign performance to continuously improve results and maximize ROI.
  2. Customer Relationship Management & Retention:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients in both warehouse and logistics sectors.
    • Drive strategies that enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
    • Address customer feedback and implement solutions to enhance the customer experience.
  3. Business Development (BD):
    • Lead efforts to identify new business opportunities in the warehouse and logistics markets, including potential clients and strategic partnerships.
    • Develop and deliver compelling proposals and pitches to secure new business.
    • Work with the BD team to nurture prospects, negotiate contracts, and expand the company’s customer base.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry dynamics to identify areas for growth and competitive advantage.
  4. Warehouse & Logistics Operations Management:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of both warehouse and logistics functions, ensuring efficient workflows, timely deliveries, and adherence to quality standards.
    • Collaborate with the operations team to resolve any challenges and implement process improvements.
    • Ensure that all operations are aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
  5. Cross-Department Collaboration:
    • Work closely with sales, operations, and other teams to ensure that marketing and business development initiatives align with overall company goals.
    • Foster communication between departments to streamline operational processes and ensure marketing campaigns are supported by operational capacity.
  6. Strategic Problem Solving & Process Optimization:
    • Identify areas where the business can improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
    • Lead efforts to enhance operational workflows and ensure the warehouse and logistics teams meet deadlines and budget constraints.
    • Resolve any issues related to logistics, warehousing, and client demands promptly.
  7. Market & Competitor Analysis:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to create strategies that position the company ahead of the competition.
    • Use insights to inform decision-making and recommend adjustments to the marketing or operational strategies.
  8. Project Management & Execution:
    • Oversee and manage key marketing and business development projects from inception through to execution, ensuring they meet goals, timelines, and budgets.
    • Report on progress and results, ensuring that the projects deliver tangible business outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Education:
    • MBA in Marketing, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  2. Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience in marketing and business development, preferably with exposure to both logistics and warehouse operations.
    • Proven experience in managing marketing campaigns and business development efforts across operational areas such as logistics and warehousing.
  3. Technical Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations.
    • Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, Excel, etc.) and marketing software.
    • Knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
  4. Core Competencies:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage customer relationships.
    • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    • Experience in negotiating contracts and closing deals with key clients.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
    • A proactive approach to identifying business opportunities and operational improvements.
