SolidWorks Mechanical Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using SolidWorks.
• Conduct simulations, FEA, and stress analysis to ensure design integrity.
• Generate detailed technical drawings, BOMs, and design documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design and engineering issues during the product development cycle.
• Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design and SolidWorks.
• Proficiency in GD&T, CAD modeling, and creating detailed drawings.
• Experience with FEA and simulation tools within SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
