We are expanding our Engineering Team in Mumbai and Kolkata and looking to hire a Senior Java Developer to join our team. This role will report to the Senior Engineering Manager.
This position is for a savvy software professional who has both technical expertise and experience leading a team of junior engineers.
- Proven experience in full-stack/backend development.
- In this role, you will be responsible for helping to build a high-performing team of engineers and lead this team to deliver products with quality, timeliness, and scalability.
- From conception to deployment, you will collaborate with Product Managers and other Engineering teams to ensure the development work aligns with our mission of delivering a remarkable experience to our customers.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members
- Must be hands-on to provide technical solutions to business problems.
- Logical thinker with the ability to clearly communicate the hypothesis.
- Work cross-functionally with various other teams, including Product Management, SQE, Customer Success Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, and/or external business/design partner to drive forward results.
- Demonstrate a passion for developing well-architected and elegant real-time and high-volume SaaS.
- Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies
Qualifications:
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years experience as a Java Developer
Technical Expertise:
- Strong JAVA development skills.
- Strong understanding
