Job Description
Addl Qualification
PG in Engineering (Mechanical)
20 years of experience in maintenance in a large integrated pulp and paper mill
- Lead the mechanical engineering team in designing, developing, and implementing projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and organizational goals.
- Oversee the maintenance, operation, and optimization of mechanical systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and resources for mechanical projects to achieve efficient outcomes.
- Establish and enforce safety protocols and compliance with regulatory standards for all mechanical operations.
- Foster innovation by researching and integrating emerging technologies to improve processes and product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and procurement, to streamline mechanical operations.
- Mentor and develop team members, ensuring skill enhancement and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and technical documentation to stakeholders and senior management.
