Workers Compensation Underwriter - General Insurance (2-3 yrs)

Work as a GPA and WC Underwriter at Corporate Office that involves contributing to Company's Group Health Business, which is one of the fastest growing segments of General Insurance in India.

It includes underwriting a profitable portfolio of business and working in a dynamic atmosphere to coordinate with different verticals like Sales, Finance, Claims, and IT to achieve defined business objectives.

Purpose: GPA and WC Quote Processing.

Reporting to: Chief Manager (Group Health UW) at Corporate Office

Span of Control ( No of Repartees ): None

Responsibilities:

- Evaluate business submissions for appetite acceptability, proper pricing, and profitability.

- Responsible for conducting testing activities related to the systems for new development and for change in the existing logics.

- Maintain underwriting files and prepare reports.

Skills & Competencies MS Office - More converse with Excel

- Good communication skills

- Inter-personal Effectiveness

Interface:

(a) Internal Sales, Operations, Claims, IT

(b) External None.

Qualification and Experience: Post Graduation/MBA in Insurance is Preferred

2-3 years' experience in related domain is preferable

Knowledge of the Insurance Market
