- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions).
- Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests.
- Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage financial systems and budgets.
- Liaise with clients (individuals or businesses) and provide financial information and advice.
- Review the company's systems and analyse risk.
- Advice clients on tax planning (within current legislation to enable them to minimise their tax liability) and tax issues associated with activities such as business acquisitions and mergers.
- Advice clients on business transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors (where applicable) and deal with any financial irregularities as they arise.
- Prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts.
- Arrange financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting.
Job Specifications:
Technical Competencies:
- 4-6 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis.
- Strong demonstrated the use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with accounting software.
- Experience in providing financial advice.
Behavioural Competencies:
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information.
- Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners.
- Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
