Junior ServiceNow Developer

bout the role:As a ServiceNow Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and functionality of our ServiceNow platform. Your responsibilities will span various aspects of ServiceNow administration, including system configuration, customization, maintenance, and user support. You will work closely with stakeholders, end-users, and fellow IT professionals to streamline processes and maximize the value derived from the ServiceNow ecosystem.Responsibilities:* Platform Configuration: Customize and configure the ServiceNow platform to align with the organization/stakeholder requirements, including but not limited to creating and modifying forms, fields, lists and UI components.* User Management: Manage user accounts, roles, and access control (ACLs) to ensure secure and efficient use of the platform. Provide user support and training as needed.* Workflow Automation: Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, and automation scripts to streamline IT and business processes.* Incident, Problem and Release Management: Administer incident, sprints and problem management processes within ServiceNow, including managing incident queues, categorizing and prioritizing incidents, and facilitating timely resolution.* Service Catalog Management: Maintain and improve the service catalog, including catalog items, variables, and order guides. Collaborate with stakeholders to expand and enhance service offerings.* Integration Management: Oversee integrations with third-party systems and applications, ensuring data consistency and smooth data flows.* Reporting and Analytics: Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance analytics to provide insights into IT service performance and identify areas for improvement.* CMDB Management: Configure and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring that it accurately reflects the organizations IT assets and their relationships.* Platform Upgrades: Stay current with ServiceNow releases and apply upgrades, patches, and enhancements to the platform.* Documentation: Document platform configurations, processes, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference.* Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and IT stakeholders, to implement solutions and enhancements.Candidate requirements: * ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification preferred.* 1-2 years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or in a similar role.* Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) processes.* Proficiency in ServiceNow administration, including configuration, workflows, and scripting.* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.* Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.* Commitment to staying up-to-date with ServiceNow platform advancements and best practices.
