Senior ServiceNow Developer-Product Development

We are seeking a skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our Product Development Team. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform to enhance our product offerings. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in ServiceNow development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions.

100% remote opportunity & Shift Timing: 1:30 PM - 6:30 PM + 8:30 PM -12:30 AM IST.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions and Service Portal to meet business requirements and enhance product offerings.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Customize ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Glide, Jelly, HTML, CSS, and other relevant technologies.
• Customize and configure ServiceNow Service Portal components, widgets, themes, and layouts using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS or similar frameworks.
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure compatibility across various devices and screen sizes.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems and applications using APIs, web services, and integration tools.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of ServiceNow solutions.
• Optimize portal performance and usability through code refactoring, caching mechanisms, and other techniques. Conduct thorough testing of portals to identify and fix bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Document technical designs, configurations, and implementation procedures for reference and knowledge sharing. Stay updated on ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and best practices related to portal development.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile/Scrum activities.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to junior developers and team members.

Requirements: 

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a focus on building custom applications, portal development, preferably in a product development environment.
• Strong proficiency in web development technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AngularJS or similar frameworks.
• Experience customizing and extending ServiceNow applications using scripting and configuration.
• Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and best practices for creating intuitive user interfaces.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and AJAX for integrating portals with external systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is a plus.
