PTC is looking for a software development engineer who has practical hands-on experience in JAVA, J2EE, Web technologies.
The candidate will be working as a part of a large multi-site team involved in design, implementation, performant, secured, agile, and reliable delivery and deployment of PTC s flagship PLM suite, Windchill, on a SaaS platform. This position is based out of PTC s Pune R&D facility.
Job responsibilities include:
- Design, develop and maintain highly secure and scalable software.
- Participate in code reviews and other quality assurance activities to ensure the solutions meet the highest standards of quality.
- Provide technical leadership to junior team members.
- Document technical design, code, and other project artifacts as required.
- Work towards achieving 100% automation.
- Communicate effectively about the work done, rationale behind it and the impact on other parts of the product and trade-offs that have been made.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies relevant for Windchill.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information technology or equivalent software development experience.
- Proven working experience as Full Stack Developer in Java, J2EE, SQL.
- 4+ years of experience in server-side programming in Java.
- Passionate about simple and clean code, unit testing and following standard coding practices.
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills and innovation capabilities.
- Working knowledge on PLM software like Windchill will be added advantage.
- Exposure on CI/CD pipeline and GIT version control.
