Job Summary
The Service Engineer for Fire and Security Controls will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of fire safety and security systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, access control systems, and intruder alarms. The role involves working with complex integrated systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing high-quality customer service to ensure systems are operational and secure.
Key Responsibilities Installation & Commissioning
Install and configure fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and other security systems according to customer requirements and safety regulations. Ensure smooth system integration with other site safety and security measures.
Maintenance & Inspection
Conduct regular preventive maintenance and inspections of fire and security systems. Ensure all systems meet operational standards and compliance requirements, including testing fire alarms, security cameras, motion sensors, and control panels.
Troubleshooting & Repair
Diagnose faults and technical issues within fire and security control systems and perform repairs or replacements as required. Ensure rapid response to service calls and restore systems to full operation.
System Upgrades & Modifications
Implement system upgrades, expansions, or modifications, such as adding new security cameras, access points, or fire alarms, in compliance with evolving standards and regulations.
