Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Engineer to join our team. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing technical equipment and ensuring optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Installation and Maintenance
    • Install and configure equipment at client locations.
    • Perform preventive maintenance as per schedules.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment or systems.
  2. Technical Support
    • Provide technical assistance to clients in person or remotely.
    • Respond promptly to service requests and ensure timely resolution.
  3. Repairs and Upgrades
    • Repair faulty equipment or recommend replacements.
    • Perform system upgrades to improve efficiency and performance.
  4. Documentation
    • Maintain detailed records of service activities, including installation reports, service calls, and repair logs.
    • Provide feedback and suggestions to the product and engineering teams for continuous improvement.
  5. Client Interaction
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
    • Educate clients on equipment usage and maintenance.
  6. Compliance and Safety
    • Adhere to company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
    • Conduct risk assessments before performing tasks.

Qualifications

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in a similar role preferred (freshers with strong technical skills can apply).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing technical equipment.
    • Knowledge of software and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team.

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
  • A valid drivers license and ability to drive company vehicles (if applicable).
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment safely.
