Design, build, automate, deploy and support scalable applications on Public and Private cloud Install, Configure, Deploy, Standardize, Automate, Update, Support, and Troubleshoot services for customers such as: LAMP/ LEMP Stack: Linux, Apache Or Nginx, MySQL, PHP OS level concerns Database Services (MySQL/PerconaDB/MariaDB, MongoDB, Aurora etc)
Application Servers consisting of a different kind of application stack Email Services: Zimbra, Postal, Postfix, Exim Scripting: Bash/Python Version control system like git, svn, etc Configuration management (Ansible)
Engineers can be required to provide support on weekends /overnights and on holidays to ensure 24 7 operations of the business in and enhance cloud management and monitoring tools Requirements
What all you need to know
2+ years of experience working in DevOps, enterprise server environment and/or web hosting environment Exposure to the public cloud AWS/Azure/Google Cloud etc.
Knowledge of and familiarity with client/server software, DNS, and networking fundamentals including diagnostics with Linux tools
Experience of working with Containers Experience in developing Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery pipelines (CI/ CD)
Good hands-on knowledge of config management tools Puppet/Chef/Ansible
Will be great if you knew... Knowledge of Magento and WordPress Fluent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to nontechnical and technical clients
