Job Description
- Design/capacity planning/ Implementation /Administration and support of Virtual Enviornment on VM platform.
- Extensive knowledge on High Availability, DRS, VMotion, SV Motion VMware SMP, capacity planner, V2P and P2V technologies
- Hands-on experience with designing and building physical servers installing, configuring, and patching ESXi 6.x & 7.x
- Manage VMs with snapshots
- Extensive knowledge of ESX host and Storage integration with iSCSI & FC technology.
- Regular support of VMware and windows environment by resolving the escalated tickets for the internal and external customer.
- Hands-on knowledge of configuring VM network in VMware(vlan/vlan IDs/network teaming etc.
- Very good knowledge of VMware & Microsoft core licensing with Processor Core-wise.
- Identify and implement the rectified operational issues
- Hands-on knowledge of Importing and exporting OVFs and manually migration of VMs
- Manage Firmware updates on ESXI Host hardware
- Manage ESX and vcenter patches & VMware tools versions
- Very good knowledge of veeam backup application and its integration with vm technologies for backup and recovery
- Good understanding of windows administration and domain environment.
- Excellent Knowledge of configuring, tuning, maintaining, and monitoring Windows 2016 / 2019 Enterprise Servers.
- Strong hands-on experience on security and non-security patch remediation on large scale of Windows server environment through WSUS server.
- Good understanding of End-user AV technologies, complete understanding of McAfee AV policies, their strengths, weakness and applicable usages.
- MacAfee Server Management, Policy creation, deployment, Database backup and troubleshooting.
- Very good knowledge of veeam backup application and its integration with vm technologies for backup and recovery
- Good understanding of windows administration and domain environment
- Understanding about vulnerability management/ penetration testing.
