Technical Scrum Master

About The Role:

The Technical Scrum Master will serve as a leader and coach for Agile teams at Serosoft. The role involves facilitating Agile practices, removing obstacles, and ensuring that the team delivers high-quality solutions aligned with the company s educational ERP goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrum Facilitation :
  • Guide the team through Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure teams adhere to Agile principles and practices.
• Team Collaboration :
  • Foster collaboration among cross-functional team members.
  • Help resolve conflicts and remove impediments that hinder the team s progress.
• Technical Guidance :
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure alignment with architectural and coding standards.
  • Provide insights into improving technical practices and quality assurance.
• Project Oversight :
  • Work with Product Owners to prioritize the backlog and ensure clarity on requirements.
  • Monitor sprint progress and ensure timely delivery of sprint goals.
• Continuous Improvement :
  • Identify areas of improvement within teams and implement strategies to enhance productivity.
  • Train and mentor team members in Agile best practices
    
    
• Education & Experience
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years in software development or technical roles.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile leadership role.

Skills:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe certification.
• Experience in managing multiple Agile teams.
• Familiarity with the education or ERP domain.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Solid technical background to communicate effectively with development teams.
