About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and results-driven SEO Specialist to optimize both website performance and mobile app visibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in search engine optimization (SEO) as well as expertise in app store optimization (ASO) to drive traffic, improve rankings, and maximize user acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities and trends.
- Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and URLs for search engines (on-page SEO).
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority (off-page SEO).
- Perform regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues like broken links, page speed, and mobile usability.
- Collaborate with content creators to produce SEO-friendly content such as blogs, articles, and landing pages.
- Analyze competitors to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor and report on website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms.
App Store Optimization (ASO):
- Perform keyword research specific to app stores (Google Play Store and Apple App Store).
- Optimize app titles, descriptions, screenshots, videos, and icons to improve app visibility.
- Track and analyze app performance metrics, including downloads, user engagement, and reviews.
- Conduct A/B testing for app metadata to improve click-through rates (CTR) and conversions.
- Monitor and adapt strategies based on app store algorithm updates.
- Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure app performance and user experience align with optimization strategies.
- Encourage positive reviews and ratings to enhance app reputation.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in SEO and at least 1 year in ASO.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, App Annie, Sensor Tower, and SplitMetrics.
- CMS Knowledge: Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, or other content management systems.
- Programming Knowledge (Preferred): Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON files for app stores.
- Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with teams and create optimized content.
- Certifications (Preferred): Google Analytics, App Store Optimization certifications, or other related qualifications.
