Senior Accountant

Role & responsibilities

1. Accounting Operations

Manage daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger updates.

Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities.

2. Taxation

Handle all tax-related matters, including filing direct and indirect taxes on time.

Address tax queries and audits in coordination with tax authorities and consultants.

3. RERA Compliance

Prepare and file RERA returns as required.

4. Stakeholder Management

Maintain communication with investors, banks, and regulatory bodies.

Prepare financial reports and presentations for stakeholders.

5. Regulatory Compliance

Ensure adherence to GST and other local, state, and national laws.

Oversee compliance with RERA regulations.

Coordinate with external auditors to complete statutory audits on time.

6. Financial Reporting and Analysis

Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Provide management with detailed financial reports to support decision-making.

7. ROC-Related Work

Handle filing of forms and documents with the Registrar of Companies (ROC).

8. FEMA-Related Work

Manage RBI filings and ensure compliance with FEMA regulations.

Tools and Software Proficiency

Tally Prime (mandatory)

Zoho Books (optional)

MS Office (including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)

Winman for Income Tax and TDS filings

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance with over 6 years of experience (Real estate industry experience is a plus).

Semi-Qualified CA with relevant experience in the real estate sector.
