Senior Sourcing Engineer

Location: Udaipur (Rajasthan)

Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical

Experience: 5-9 years

Skills Required:

• Experience in Vendor development
• Knowledge of Manufacturing process for plastic and sheet metal components
• Knowledge of Injection and Compression Moulds for plastic parts
• Knowledge of plastic and sheet metal costing
• Interpretation of 3D models
• Working knowledge of Solid works
• Exposure to PLM

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop/source components as per agreed project requirements and design specification
• Co-ordination between design team and suppliers in order to develop/source defect free components and manufacturing processes at suppliers sites
• Ensure that the part developed/sourced supports manufacturability and meets product cost targets
• Provide inputs and support Project Manager in the overall program planning by ensuring updated Part Development Activity workflow
• Contribute in meeting program cost target by reducing TAT of parts under sourcing / development
• Reduce the no. of iterations for approval of the parts under sourcing / development
• Ensure process compliance in the project
