Lead/Senior Software Engineer - Java (4-10 yrs)

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead specializing in Java to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of developers, designing robust software solutions, and ensuring the quality and performance of our applications. As a Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving technological innovation and excellence within the company.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership and Team Management :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Java developers.

- Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Technical Expertise :

- Architect, design, and develop high-quality Java-based applications.

- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of applications.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Project Management :

- Work closely with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

- Track and report on project progress and address any issues that arise.

Quality Assurance :

- Implement and enforce coding standards and best practices.

- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications.

- Ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices are followed.

Stakeholder Communication :

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Communicate technical concepts and project status to non-technical stakeholders.

- Provide technical guidance and support to other teams as needed.

Required Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Masters degree is a plus.

Experience :

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Java development.

- Proven experience in a technical leadership or team lead role.

- Strong experience with Spring, Hibernate, and other Java frameworks.

- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.

Skills :

- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, and related technologies.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Tools and Technologies :

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).

- Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications in Java or related technologies.

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
