Overview :

As a Senior Software Engineer(Front end) at Cricbuzz, you will play a key role in our front-end development team to deliver high-quality, user-centric web applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to create seamless user experiences and scalable front-end architectures. This role requires strong technical expertise in frontend technologies and a passion for mentoring and guiding team members.

Responsibilities :

- Research, design, and implement elegant solutions to complex web user interface challenges.

- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate product requirements into technical specifications and actionable tasks.

- Implement scalable, maintainable, and efficient front-end systems and components.

- Ensure high-quality code through code reviews, testing strategies, and continuous integration practices.

- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in frontend development, and champion their adoption within the team.

- Collaborate effectively with backend developers to integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

- Demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to lead a team, make technical decisions, and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for frontend codebases, including architecture diagrams, component libraries, and coding standards.

- Ensure all front-end development work is well-documented to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.

Requirements & Skills :

- Proven experience (3-4 years) developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

- A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.

- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Good understanding of the principles of SEO.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward addressing challenges.

- Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and client-side rendering (CSR) techniques.

- Familiarity with frontend build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm).

- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and experience working closely with designers.
