Senior Software Engineer - Java Technologies (5-9 yrs)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Backend Development with Java. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional passionate about crafting scalable, robust, and secure applications while leading technical efforts and mentoring team members.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Backend Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend systems using Java and frameworks like Spring Boot.

- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices architecture to support frontend applications.

- Optimize application performance, ensuring efficient handling of data and processes.

2. Full-Stack Contribution (Preferred) :

- Develop responsive and dynamic frontend interfaces using Angular.

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement engaging user interfaces and ensure seamless user experience.

- Bridge the backend and frontend for end-to-end application delivery.

3. Code Quality and Standards :

- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while adhering to industry best practices and organizational guidelines.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

- Implement and oversee automated testing frameworks, including unit, integration, and functional testing.

4. Collaboration and Leadership :

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, QA Engineers, and DevOps, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Mentor junior developers, guiding them in technical and architectural decisions.

- Participate in project planning and contribute to technical decisions and problem-solving.

5. Innovation and Problem Solving :

- Stay updated with the latest technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to propose innovative solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the full-stack.

Required Qualifications :

- Experience : 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend development using Java.

Skills :

- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), and Hibernate/JPA.

- Experience with database like SQL

- Hands-on experience with Angular (preferred).

- Proficient in microservices architecture and API development.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.

- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on delivering efficient solutions.
