Job description

We own and manage two large travel portals selling online holiday packages to domestic and international tourists. Over the years, our websites have enjoyed leadership positions in the domestic and international holiday booking segment through organic traffic from search engines. The websites have extensive destination-based & a blog that is updated regularly by our existing team of Content writers, SEOs and web development team.

With the reopening of the travel market after the pandemic, we are strengthening our online marketing efforts and looking to add additional SEO resources to our current team.

The job will require you to do qualitative on-page & off-page SEO updates of the sections assigned and help grow the existing online presence of the websites.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Reviewing, creating and executing ongoing on-page & off-page analysis of the website based on destinations & market segment.
• Doing keyword research to strengthen the website ranking on the existing keywords and acquiring new keywords.
• Focus on growing mobile-based search traffic to the website
• Enhancing the existing backlink profile of the website.
• Participating in content generation ideas with the content development team
• Doing fundamental website housekeeping activities like GSC cleanup and other regular SEO related site maintenance activities.

Candidate Profile:

• You should have a clear understanding of SEO fundamentals and best practices.
• Experience in executing backlink building strategies is an essential requirement in a suitable candidate profile.
• Experience in the travel industry will be an added advantage.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) & Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Excellent analytical skills; you should be comfortable using spreadsheets for data analysis.
• Basic knowledge about HTML CSS would be an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
