Senior Sdet Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks to support comprehensive

testing of our software products.

● Create and execute automated tests for both web and API applications using tools

such as Selenium and Rest Assured.

● Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure that testing activities align

with project requirements and timelines.

● Utilize Git Version control for managing code repositories, including basic git flows

and understanding of branching workflows.

● Automate REST API testing using Rest Assured library.

● Manage build processes and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

● Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and

retrospective meetings.

● Identify bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code using automation tools, and work

with development teams to address them.

● Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on

testing progress and issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

● 5+ years of experience in software development and/or quality assurance, with a

focus on automation testing.

● Strong object-oriented design and development skills.

● Proficiency in data structures and algorithms.

● Experience with Java collections.

● In-depth knowledge of Selenium, Rest Assured libraries, TestNG, Maven, X-path, and

CSS.

● Familiarity with Git Version control, including basic git flows and branching

workflows.

● Expertise in automating REST API testing using Rest Assured.

● Experience working with Azure CI/CD pipelines or similar build management tools.

● Previous experience working in an Agile environment.

● Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively

in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience with mobile automation testing frameworks (e.g., Appium).

● Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

● Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

● Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus
