Senior Resident - Cardiology

As a Resident in Cardiology, your role is to provide medical care and support to patients with cardiovascular conditions under the supervision of attending physicians and senior cardiologists. You will work in a hospital or clinical setting, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of cardiac diseases and disorders. Here are some key responsibilities and tasks associated with this role : Patient Evaluation : Conduct thorough medical evaluations of patients with cardiac conditions, including taking detailed medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests. Diagnosis and Treatment : Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions, such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular disorders. Interpret diagnostic test results, analyze cardiac images, and contribute to treatment planning. Cardiac Procedures : Assist in performing or observing cardiac procedures, such as echocardiograms, stress tests, cardiac catheterizations, and electrocardiograms (ECGs). Learn and develop proficiency in various diagnostic and interventional techniques. Patient Management : Participate in the management of patients with cardiac conditions, including prescribing medications, monitoring patient progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
