Engineer/ Senior Engineer - Quality

Role & responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality assurance processes
• Support design engineering to develop and review specifications/CTQ`s for products or processes
• Set Quality plan, control plan for castings, fabrication and machined products for inhouse and suppliers and monitor their compliance
• Oversee all product development activities, procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
• Ensure timely inspection at supplier site, receiving, in-process and finished product quality.
• Plan, schedule, perform process, system and product audits and guide the team on implementing corrective action for audit findings.
• Ontime instrument calibration and fixture/ gauges validation.
• Adherence to UQMS, accurate documentation.
• Address inhouse, supplier non-conformance and customer complaints with preventive measures and perform statistical analysis to arrive at the root cause.
• Identify improvement opportunities, implement the actions and ensure its effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations

• Leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to train and motivate the team
• Knowledge and expertise in high precision Metrology
• Preparation & implementation of QAP, Control Plan, Inspection Plan, Sampling Plan etc
• Internal Auditor Certification to Quality Management System is a strong advantage (ISO 9000, IATF 16949, AS9100)
