About the Role :

- Collaborate closely with Analytics and Portfolio Managers to understand and address their technical needs, while designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications and systems.

- Lead and manage end-to-end product delivery to ensure high-quality, timely releases, and work with offshore teams, providing guidance and maintaining alignment with project goals.

Primary Skill :

Python :

- Hands-on experience with distributed and data-intensive applications.

- Proficiency in building dynamic and static reports using Python

- Strong understanding of building RESTful APIs with Python.

- Familiarity with Python code/design practices and best practices.

Cloud and Infrastructure :

- Exposure to AWS (preferably AWS Certified Architect).

- Experience with Snowflake and relational databases such as Oracle and Postgres.

- Familiarity with working on both Linux and Windows environments.

- Understanding of distributed systems and their challenges.

DevOps and CI/CD :

- Experience with GitLab/GitHub and understanding of CI/CD best practices.

- Proficiency in building and managing deployment pipelines.

Communication and Collaboration :

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with onsite clients.

- Experience in working with Asset Management firms or Investment Banks is highly desirable.

- Ability to manage and coordinate with offshore teams.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree or master's in computer science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant field.

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification.

- Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in asset management.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
