Job Summary:
The Senior Executive - Purchase will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement activities within the organization. This role involves sourcing and purchasing materials, goods, and services at the best possible cost, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. The Senior Executive - Purchase will work closely with internal departments to ensure that procurement processes align with business needs and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement & Sourcing:
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers/vendors for materials, goods, and services.
• Conduct negotiations to obtain the best prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Issue purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase transactions, supplier contracts, and other procurement-related documents.
2. Vendor Management:
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, pricing and timely delivery.
• Evaluate vendor bids and proposals, recommending appropriate suppliers based on criteria such as price, quality, and reliability.
3. Inventory & Stock Control:
• Coordinate with internal teams (such as production, inventory management, or warehouse) to understand material requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and work closely with relevant departments to ensure materials are ordered in a timely manner, avoiding shortages or overstocking.
4. Cost Optimization & Budgeting:
• Analyze purchasing trends and work towards reducing procurement costs while maintaining quality and operational efficiency.

• Minimum [3-5] years of experience in procurement or purchasing, with a strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and cost optimization strategies.
• Experience in the relevant industry (e.g., manufacturing, retail, logistics) is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and purchasing best practices.
