1 Hexagon Capability Center Senior Project Manager Job

The Senior Project Manager oversees medium to high complexity product development acceleration projects from start to finish within the solution design team.
These projects may be sponsored by one or more customers, who will become key stakeholders.

Manage software development acceleration project involving product enhancements across Hexagon ALI portfolio of products.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Adhere to Hexagons product roadmap governance and product management procedures.
Manage and control for each project:
- Project plans, schedules and milestones, Project Deliverables, Risk and issue management along with scope
- Weekly and monthly reporting (internal and external)
Work with Product Design, Product Development, Regional Services and Sales management teams on project escalations and risks.
Identify and implement improvements to Hexagon ALI product management tools and processes.
Some domestic and international travel may be required. (10-15%)
Complete other tasks as assigned.
Create and maintain trust and rapport within the project team and with the customer throughout the project.
Practice effective written and verbal communication both internally and externally.

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) in Mechanical / Civil / Computer science or Equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing projects or product roadmap creation/management
• Minimum 3 years recent experience with software development in any role
• Experience working on SDx solution or similar kind of solutions from the industry
• PMP (or comparable certification) desirable
• Experience managing large, complex projects with both business and technical requirements
• Firm grasp of software development methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile)
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications required

Preferred:

• Experience with project scheduling / task management/assignment software a plus
• Experience in organizational change management preferred
