Senior Project Engineer T&I - OFW - L3

• Use the existing T&I cycle time tool Shoreline(decision support system in the form of discrete event simulation) to calculate optional cases for wind farm projects.
• Transport & Installation (T&I) cycle time simulations for foundation, cable, turbine and substation package.
• Number of locations
• Pick-up point for wind farm components
• Installation vessels with different operational limits.
• Feeder vs shuttling concept
• Marshalling port stock analysis
• Sensitivity scenario analysis (P50, P75, P90)
• Earlier or later campaign start date
• Maintain existing shoreline models and develop new models based on project demand
• Support alternative T&I cycle time tools
• Present shoreline results
• Support team with review of method statements and general coordination and support task during tendering and execution.

Required Expertise:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in offshore construction project development, execution and/or operation within an offshore engineering company or contractor.
• Industry knowledge and good understanding of design and engineering, operational challenges, interfaces, risks of offshore wind farm development regarding T&I of foundations, cables, turbines and/or Substations.
• Good knowledge about offshore installation vessels, mission equipment as well as construction schedule.
• Strong writing and communication skills with an eye for analytical and persuasive presentations.
• Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and make independent decisions that promote/advance company goals and objectives.
• High level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
